My shortlist of Claude Code mods: what each one does for you, how to set it up, and the quick check I run before anything goes on my laptop.

Mods are small extras that change how Claude works for you: a forecast for when a chat's getting too full, an "are you sure?" before it deletes anything, a replay of exactly what it just changed. They work in the Claude desktop app, no terminal needed. Each one on the list comes with what it can touch, so you know what you're installing, plus the copy-and-paste check to run on any mod you find yourself.
